Guard Dogs, Buddy and Bella are amazing. They keep the alpacas safe from predators such as bears and mountain lions, but they are gentle and loving to visitors and the Paca Peace kids. They are truly wonder dogs.

Buddy and Bella are Akbash, a 3,000 year old breed from Turkey, combining mastiff fighting ability with the keen eye and running ability of a site hound. Akbash are nocturnal, but quickly become fully awake during the day if there is a threat of danger. They live full time with the alpacas.
