How Can I Help?

COME AND SEE

If you live near Westcliffe, Colorado, or will be in the area, and you are
interested in visiting the ranch or would like to be a volunteer, write to us at info@pacapeace.org. We'd love to share Paca Peace Ranch with you and learn about your ideas.

Volunteers of all ages can help to care for the animals and share your interests and talents with the program.

Special thanks to our volunteers who donated countless hours this summer include Eleanor Oakhill, Donna Bissell, Robb Hill, Amy Moulton, Kristen Maher and Peter Maher.

PRESENT NEEDS

Paca Peace always appreciates donations for operating expenses such as food, transportation, alpaca care, etc. Or you might like to sponsor an alpaca, a youth or event.

If you wish to make a personal tax deductable contribution to Paca Peace Ranch, you may send it to:
Paca Peace Ranch
1815 Black Cloud Circle
P.O. Box 463
Westcliffe, CO 81252

We will send a receipt to you for tax purposes. We will not ask for donations by phone calls or mailings.

IN YOUR COMMUNITY

Wherever you are located, you can learn to train your animals with respectful methods that help an animal understand what is expected, rather than using force. A frightened animal can't learn well and can become dangerous. Trying to understand what an animal needs will tend to bring about a peaceful and productive relationship between you and your animal.

Volunteer to share your animal. If your pet is good with people, you can possibly arrange visits with senior citizen centers, hospitals, schools, day care centers, or a lonely neighbor. Also, you can share your animal in community events, such as parades. You will be able to think of many other ways to share the peace and love your animal brings.
